Ice Dam in Bellaire, MI

In our snowy climate, ice dams can become at real problem for Northern Michigan homes.  This home in Bellaire, MI had an ice dam that affected the ceilings and got the carpeting wet from the water. We had to remove the ceiling and wet insulation in order to dry the framing.  Once the framing was dried we were able replace and match the texture of the ceiling so there was no evidence that the ceiling was damaged from the ice dam.  The after photo shows the ceiling repaired, the carpeting cleaned and the furniture moved back to their original spot.
