Flooded Kitchen in Traverse City, MI

This kitchen was flooded due to a broken refrigerator supply line.  The water leaked over the entire hardwood floor for many days before being found.  Due to the delay in finding the water, the hardwood floor was too damaged to be saved and had to be removed so SERVPRO could dry the subfloor underneath.  Because the wood flooring ran underneath the island, the island need to be detached in order to remove the damaged wood floor.  The after photo shows the new hardwood floor installed and the island and appliances reset into place for the homeowner to enjoy their summer home.
